Mystery Photo:
-This is a photo of a painting in the hallway. It is a mystery photo because you have to look closely to realize that it is a side view of a head.
-I looked at the painting as a whole and realized that i could use the head as a mystery photo. I stood about 3 feet back and took the picture with the flash on.
-Next time i might pick a smaller object so it is harder to figure out what it is.
-I liked it because at first it is hard to figure out what it is because of how the colors blend.
Shadow:
This photo is somehow turned sideways.
-This image fits the shadow category because it shows the shadow of my cat chewing its food.
-I turned on some lights in the other room and turned off the flash on my camera to set this up.
-Next time i might do an image where it just has the shadow of an object, not the object itself.
-I like the photo because of how simple it is.
Reflection:
-This image fits reflection because the trophy itself it so shiny that everything was reflecting off of it.
-What I did to set it up was turn the flash off, get the right angle to get the camera out of the reflection on the trophy, and take the picture.
-Next time i might choose a bigger object to use.
-I like it because it is kind of neat in a way that there are so many sides to it that are reflecting things around it.
Building/Architecture:
-This image is of the football stands at the high school. It fits the category because it is a kind of building.
-To get this image i went outside and had to change the shutter speed to let the right amount of light in.
-Next time i might pick something more interesting like some building in town around the courthouse.
-i like it because of how blue it turned out. I had never seen an image like that and i thought it was interesting.
Motion Blur:
-This image fits the motion blur category because everything but me is sitting still. I am the only object that is "moving"
-To set this image up i had to turn the lights off and then snap the picture. I could not figure out how to dim the light enough to get the right lighting so i just had to time it good.
-Next time i might try to find a darker room with a dim light so it turns out better.
- i like it because it was the hardest one to do and i felt accomplished once it had turned out.
Close up:
-This fits the close up category because it is a close up image of a piece of wood.
- To set this up i put a macro lens on my ipod touch and took a picture of a knot on a bench.
-Next time i might take a picture of a flower or something with a better camera.
-I like it because you can really see the grain of the wood.
Student choice:
-this image fits this category because i chose the picture.
-To set it up i set the camera on auto and turned off the flash.
-I can't find anything i would do differently next time
-I like it because it shows the true beauty of Michigan. 6 feet of snow one day, and none the next.
Emotion:
-This image fits the emotion category because he is showing emotion.
-What i did to set it up was i got on a chair and took a picture of him looking up.
-Next time i might get a different emotion.
-I like it because it is kind of goofy.
Posed:
-this fits the category because he is posing.
-To set it up i put the camera on the tripod and asked him to act like he was walking
-Next time I might
